Meet the Experts Behind the StraFit Academy

Fabrizio Zanello

With more than 35 years of experience, Fabrizio is a key figure in the Italian fitness world.

He holds degrees in Physical Education and Preventive Motor Sciences, and is certified in everything from CrossFit Level 1 & 2 to Pilates Matwork, swimming, and athletics.

He’s led top gyms in Genoa and is now co-owner of CrossFit La Superba.

He’s also collaborated with major international brands like TRX and Les Mills, where he’s a Pro Elite Instructor and Assessor.

At StraFit, Fabrizio leads the development of group training programs, making them smarter, more effective, and more exciting than ever.

Francesca Strassoldo

With degrees in both Motor Sciences and Dietetics, Francesca brings a scientific, people-focused approach to fitness.

She’s an expert in functional training, posture, Odaka Yoga, spinning, and a well-known speaker at fitness events worldwide.

She’s currently working on a PhD between San Raffaele University in Rome and Université Paris Cité, focused on physical performance, lifestyle, and wellbeing.

At the same time, she’s completing a certification in Somatic Counseling, integrating body and mind in her coaching.

At StraFit, Francesca co-leads program development – creating and refining modules for Group, Postural, PT, and Rehab – to ensure every workout is effective, adaptable, and truly valuable for both clients and trainers.
