The puzzling diagnosis

Although I was only playing an hour of tennis, The pain and inflammation in my knee was becoming more and more unbearable and I was becoming more and more frustrated.

Ice was no longer enough, so I decided to make specialist visits to the orthopedist, who gave me a puzzling diagnosis: patellofemoral chondropathy, causing inflammation with synovial fluid production and subsequent swelling like a melon around the knee..

In short, a disaster!!!

And the orthopedist told me that unfortunately cartilage does not regenerate and that I had to live with this problem or undergo major surgery.

Imagine how I felt: I couldn't play tennis anymore, I had pain even just walking, and if I ran a little bit my knee would swell up.

To try to solve the problem a little bit, I had to remove this fluid with syringes and have hyaluronic acid injections, but unfortunately with no results.

I was desperate.

I also bought all kinds of shoes and tried dozens of different insoles because some orthopedists had told me that maybe they could alleviate the problem, but unfortunately nothing improved.

The discovery that changed everything

I was on the verge of giving up when I made a discovery that would change everything: I noticed that when I went swimming, where I could walk on the bottom, I had less pain, so I tried to figure out how I could "reproduce" the same thing out of the water.

So I started looking for something non-impacting and soft, and what better underfoot than something that doesn't impact and is as soft as a cloud?

Quite simply, a soft mattress!

So I tried walking on the bed, started to do some light jogging in place, did some small jumps, and in the few minutes I tried it, I felt no pain.

WOW!

Enlightenment

It's as if a light bulb went on in my head and I had the enlightenment that I needed to get my mind right.

I started walking on Strafit, first for 4 minutes a day, then for 8 minutes, until I got up to 24 minutes at intense activity, and by the end of the fourth week, I couldn't believe my eyes: not only did I have no pain or swelling in my knee, but I felt perfectly fit and with a trained physique.

Now all I had to do was to take the litmus test and get back on the tennis court.

I still remember that day, the joy of picking up the racket again and the hope that at the end of the hour of play I would feel no pain and the knee would not swell.

By the end of the hour, the "miracle" had happened because my knee was perfectly normal, didn't hurt and wasn't even swollen!

The return to normalcy

From that day I continued to use Strafit regularly and have not stopped since.

Today, at 59 years old, I regularly play competitively for about 6 to 8 hours a week, in addition to my physical training, which includes daily use of Strafit.
